Grace Kotnik Goalkeeper Class of 2019
My Soccer Life
I’ve been a Goalkeeper since I was six years old and I currently play for ARSENAL FC SD 01/02 EGSL. I believe that with my exceptional work ethic, experience, dedication, skill, and Soccer IQ, I will be able to achieve my dream of playing soccer in college. Soccer is my passion and I have poured many years of blood, sweat and tears into the sport that I love wholeheartedly.
School Academics and School Athletics
I am currently a sophomore at the Academy of Our Lady of Peace, a private Catholic college prep school in San Diego, California. During my freshman year I earned a 4.0 and I was named to the Head of School’s Honors List both semesters. Not only did I achieve my goals academically, but also athletically. I was named rookie of the year for Varsity Surf, the starting Goalkeeper for Varsity Soccer and the goalie with the best record for Varsity Lacrosse. Since I maintained straight A’s while playing three varsity sports, I received the CIF Tri-Scholar Athlete award.
